The Program
In 2010 the AKC established this elite status for Breeders of all pure-bred dogs who meet and maintain the following requirements.
History of at least 5 years involved in AKC events
After many trips to area Fun Matchs, Dot entered the Golden Retriever Confirmation ring in September 1995. Against a small entry at the Piedmont Kennel Club in Charlotte, Dot took Winners and naturally fell in love with showing.
Active pursuit of of advancing the Breed
Must have earned AKC Confirmation, Performance or Companion event titles on a minimum of 4 dogs from litters bred.
Membership in an AKC Club
Dot is a member in good standing with the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA)
Certify Clearances on all brood stock
For the Goldens, Dot maintains clearances for Eyes, Heart, Hips and Elbows.
Registry of all Puppies
Claridge demonstrates that 100% of puppies produced are individually AKC registered
